In a move that is sure to shake up the local political landscape, Downingtown Borough and East Caln Township have been redistricted out of the 155th Legislative District.

Downingtown Borough and East Caln Township, which have been represented by Rep. Curt Schroder (R-155th) for the last 17 years have been removed from the district and will be combined in a new legislative district (45th) to include: the City of Coatesville, South Coatesville, Modena, Caln Township, Valley Township, East Fallowfield, Sadsbury, and Parkesburg.
