The city of Muskegon is a medium size community on the shores of Lake Michigan. It is known for many outdoor activities including beach volleyball, golf and water sports, as well as various winter sports such as luging, snowboarding and ice fishing.
For the 26th year, Muskegon's local Jaycees organization will sponsor a winter festival known as Snowfest. This event will offer both indoor and outdoor activities centered around the theme of winter, ice and snow.
