Recently, Michigan news anchor Suzanne Wangler made headlines after being arrested for embezzlement. Now she has made headlines again after being found dead in her home on Saturday, February 23. Wangler, 42, was unresponsive when she was found in her home in Royal Oak, Michigan. Her cause of death has not been confirmed, but an autopsy is planned to find her exact cause of death. She had just retired from WLAJ in Lansing, Michigan while working under the name Suzanne Page. She was also up on charges of embezzlement and larceny and was facing possibly heavy prison time.

Peaceful Arrest

Wangler was said to have embezzled over $149,000 from Les Pingilley from Woodhaven while acting as his financial advisor. Pingilley had entrusted $170,000 of his money with Wangler that he settled from a recent divorce. Wangler had a license to sell annuities from insurance companies, and the two had briefly dated. She was peacefully arrested in her home on Wednesday, February 20th.
